I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to a West Indian family. I have lived in four different neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn, all of which were very similar but yet maintaining their own distinct characteristics. I am very much proud to be a "Brooklynite" and I truly appreciate the history and culture that each neighborhood has to offer.

I am grateful that I have been exposed to such a diverse city that has every culture's greatest asset and combines it into one huge melting pot of art, music, and of course food! From the brownstones and brick houses, to the ever-so-convenient mass transportation, I have been heavily influenced. I believe my work shows this, whether it is through art and design, fashion and style, or simply a train of thought, I live and breathe in a New York state of mind.

The next stop on "my train" heading towards success is sunny (at least most of the time) Southern California. Moving here was a great learning experience. Once I learned to drive I was riding high on L. A.'s traffic and Hollywood lifestyle. Getting around on my own time meant independence, and that term became quite familiar to me. I became a go-getter, and becoming successful was more than appealingly glamorous to me, it was the only option. Thus, Los Angeles set "my train" in motion again heading for a career that I can not only make a living from, but love as well.
I am currently residing in Richmond continuing my studies in VCU's Brandcenter graduate school for Art Direction. I have completed my first year of this two-year journey and I am looking forward to the remainder of my time at Brandcenter.
